Have you ever wondered about what sets the Catholic Church apart from all denominations? Or perhaps you have wondered what Matthew Chapter 16 has to do with Isaiah 22, what was Jesus establishing here? (Look it up) You are invited to join in an evening of exploration of the Splendor of the Church and to discover why it is necessary to have “The Bible and the Church” that it is not an either or but a both. Professor Scott Hahn lays down a challenge to both Catholic and non-Catholic believers in this one hour video.

First Communion

Second grade families continue on an exciting faith-filled journey.  Orientation and preparation for the Sacrament of Communion began in mid-January.  Worksheets will be available after Mass at both Immaculate Conception and St. Patrick begining February 6th. 
   
     Interview Day is Saturday, March 20th from 9-11:00am
                           in the Multi-purpose room of the Education Center
    
     Rehearsal is Wednesday, April 21st at 6:00pm at Immaculate Conception church
    
     First Communion is scheduled to take place at the following Masses:
          Immaculate Conception:
                    Saturday, April 24th at 5:00pm
                    Sunday, April 25th at 9:00am
                    Sunday, April 25th at 7:00pm
          St. Patrick:
                    Sunday, April 25th at 11:00am

Dead Sea Scroll Tour

Dead Sea Scroll Tours
The Dead Sea Scrolls are going to be on display at the Minnesota Science Museum and Immaculate Conception church will be sponsoring a bus tour to see the scrolls. The tour is scheduled for Tuesday, April 13, 2010. Monday Evening Adult Enrichment Sessions

Monday Evening Adult Enrichment Sessions are from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm in the multi-purpose room. The sessions this year are on the Scott Hahn series. Dr. Scott Hahn is a well known theological professor who returned to his Catholic Faith after a long struggle. By popular demand we will be showing his one hour video on his conversion process followed by his wife's story the following week. Registraion is not required as there is no charge or materials for the class. Come and see what makes them so excited about being Catholic.
